The functions, duties and powers of the Vice-chancellor shall be as follows:
(a) To assist the Chancellor in implementing, or causing to be implemented, directions given by the Assembly and decisions made by the Council;
(b) To perform all such functions in the absence of the Chancellor as required to be performed by the Chancellor;
(c) To perform other functions at the direction of the Chancellor.
